Bat Boy is a fictional creature in World Weekly News‎.

History

Homer and Bart entered Santa's Little Helper in an ugly dog contest. When they were designing a look for the dog, Homer said he wanted "something that looks like this" and showed Bart the "bat boy" creature on the cover of the World Weekly News.

Behind the Laughter

"Bat Boy" was one of the recurring subjects in Weekly World News, the magazine which World Weekly News is a parody of.
