Alexandra "Alex" Whitney is a popular new "grown-up" girl in Lisa Simpson's class in "Lard of the Dance", voiced by Lisa Kudrow.

Alex is very girly.She has a mobile phone, credit cards and enjoys dances.

She has since made some minor appearances as a background character but no other major parts.She made an appearance in "Little Girl In The Big Ten" she was lining up for gymnastics. Most Episodes, her hair was black.
Trivia
When she is first introduced she says "your name is Lisa, I love that name" which is a direct reference to her voice actor Lisa Kudrow. Also, a few seconds later she says to Lisa "don't be such a Phoebe" a reference to her voice actor's character in Friends named Phoebe.
