Doug is a cameraman who films the FOX television show, Mother Flippers.

History

When asked to pixelate Homer and Bart showing their bums on camera, he replied "There aren't enough pixels in the world" to do so. Bart temporarily offered his assistance, as Doug had previously allowed him to smoke in his room. Doug later revealed Bart had in fact smoked a joint.[1]

He was also seen filming for the show Sneakers.[2]

Behind the Laughter

Doug only has two lines in the episode. His first, "There aren't enough pixels in the world" was provided by Dan Castellaneta. The second, "That was a joint, and I have a name, it's Doug," was provided by Hank Azaria. It's likely that these lines were intended for two different characters, but were both given to Doug by mistake.
