Mary Poppins is a character in the story of Mary Poppins.
History
When Sherry Bobbins introduced herself to the Simpsons, she said that her name was Sherry Bobbins. Homer then asked if she said "Mary Poppins". Sherry said that she is Sherry Bobbbins and an original creation, like Rickey Rouse or Monald Muck.[1] When Homer started to use items and then return them, he said that he can "Mary Poppins" himself to work with an umbrella that he opened.[2]
