J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter book series. The Simpsons met her when they visited England.

When the Simpsons saw Rowling standing outside a book shop, Lisa told Rowling that she loved her books and that she (Rowling) had turned an entire generation on to reading, to which Rowling replied, "Thank you, young Muggle."

Lisa then asked how the series ended, and Rowling answered, somewhat sarcastically, "He grows up and he marries you! Is that what you want to hear?" Lisa was evidently oblivious to Rowling's sarcasm, as she simply sighed, "Yes," in a dreamy and moonstruck fashion.
