Deborah A. "Debbie" Peterson, previously Deborah A. "Debbie" Silver, is an animator for The Simpsons. She is currently a background designer but has previously served as a background clean-up artist, background layout artist and background layout supervisor.

Peterson was nominated for a 2014 Annie Award in "Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production" for "Treehouse of Horror XXIV" along with Lynna Blankenship, Dima Malanitchev, Charles Ragins and Jefferson R. Weekley.[1]
