The Simpsons: Tapped Out Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part Three) is the one hundred and sixty-seventh content update, and it will be released on May 9th, 2018. It's based on the Who Shot Mr. Burns? two-parter episode. It added 2 characters, 1 building-character combo, 1 building, 1 building skin and 4 decorations. The event requires Level 20 to start.

• The character locator bug is fixed.
• Smooches on the Beach can now be placed on the Beach.
• Battle of the Quick Wit Brits now requires Oscar Wilde too.
• Volcano Lair and Rocket Car were removed from the store sections.
