The Simpsons: Tapped Out Treehouse of Horror XXIX Teaser is the one hundred and seventy-fourth content update, and was released on September 26th, 2018. It's a teaser for the upcoming Treehouse of Horror XXIX event. The update will end on October 3rd, 2018 at 2pm GMT. It added 1 new character and 1 new building.

- The Treehouse of Horror music has been added in the background.
- The town center was set to ???.
- Event Daily Challenges were added.
- Leaves now falls on the screen.
- Autumn look has been set for trees.
- Water was changed to the spooky green look.
- Fortune Teller Shop graphical glitch was fixed.
- Suzanne the Witch's jobs are now premium.
- Comic Book Guy's Rant Online and Homer's Buy Champagne jobs were fixed.
