The Simpsons: Tapped Out Time Traveling Toaster content update was released on May 30th, 2017, and is the one hundred and fifth content update. A preview of the event was released on May 24th, 2017 in the Forgotten Anniversary update.
Other changes made

- The Splash Screen and App Icon were changed.
- New Daily Challenges were added for the event.
- The town center was changed to the Excavation Site.
- A new ambience music was added.
- A new row of land was added.
- Sailor Kumiko's store icon was added.
- A new character group, Plant Workers, was added: Homer, Lenny, Carl,
- A new character group, Excavators, was added: Lisa, Skinner, Cletus, Milhouse, Willie, Smithers,
- Daily Tasks were added for the event.
- In Baking Bread Pt. 6, when tapping on the objective Build the Old Abandoned Warehouse, it now takes the user to the Buildings store section instead of Squidport.
