The Simpsons: Tapped Out Time Traveling Toaster and Donut Day 2017 content update is the main event of the Time Traveling Toaster, Aspirational Grind, Donut Day 2017 and 4th of July 2017 update and was released on May 30th, 2017. A preview of the event was released on May 24th, 2017 in the Forgotten Anniversary update.

Other changes made

• The Splash Screen and App Icon were changed.
• New Daily Challenges were added for the event.
• The town center was changed to the Excavation Site.
• A new ambience music was added.
• A new row of land was added.
• Sailor Kumiko's store icon was added.
• A new character group, Plant Workers, was added: Homer, Lenny, Carl,
• A new character group, Excavators, was added: Lisa, Skinner, Cletus, Milhouse, Willie, Smithers,
• Daily Tasks were added for the event.
• In Baking Bread Pt. 6, when tapping on the objective Build the Old Abandoned Warehouse, it now takes the user to the Buildings store section instead of Squidport.
