The Simpsons: Tapped Out Moe's Ark is the one hundred and seventy-second content update, and will be released on August 1st, 2018. It was teased in the Moe's Ark Teaser update.

- Intro quests will auto-trigger for any player that has completed the tutorial.
- Initial objective: Requires any 3 Simpsons Family members (Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, Grampa, etc.)
Synopsis
Act 1
Springfielders, collectively exhausted from recent hijinks, demand a more wholesome family experience. Not another theme park featuring murderous cartoon animals, but a park filled with real animals! The Springfield Zoo never re-opened and is in a state of disrepair. The town fixes up the entrance in preparation of the grand re-opening and immediately runs out of funds.
The owner of the Zoo, Larry Kidkill, offers advice on how to bring in the extra funding. The townsfolk volunteer at the Zoo and tend to the animals for free, while Larry Kidkill applies for Animal Sanctuary grants to fund the whole endeavor.
Moe agrees to help source the animals on condition of immunity, which Wiggum agrees to because it means he doesn’t have to investigate anything. Moe goes to work using his smuggling contacts to bring in replacements for the usual attractions.
