Gilligan's Island

Gilligan's Island is an American sitcom created and produced by Sherwood Schwartz. The show's ensemble cast features Bob Denver, Alan Hale Jr., Jim Backus, Natalie Schafer, Tina Louise, Russell Johnson, and Dawn Wells. It aired for three seasons on the CBS network from September 26, 1964, to April 17, 1967.

Morehouse explains to a colleague, "I want Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island ugly, not Cornelius on The Planet of the Apes ugly." 17 374 "The Wettest Stories Ever Told" Homer refers to the anchor on the wallpaper as the Popeye tattoo, and the sailor's hat as Gilligan's hat from Gilligan's Island. 23 504 "Beware My Cheating Bart" Homer says, "Islands are always entertaining, from 'Gilligan's' to Iwo Jima." 30 643 "Treehouse of Horror XXIX" Islands seen on the map include Gilligan's Island.

Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror #13 Gnaws As Wiggum boards the Orca II, a dockhand tells him he "packed like a fancy lady crossing the ocean", which could refer to either Mrs. Howell from Gilligan's Island or Rose in the 1997 Titanic movie.
