Titanic is a 1997 film by James Cameron starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. It is based on a real-life maritime disaster, namely the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912. The film was one of the biggest box-office successes of all time and won 11 Academy Awards.

25 543 "The Man Who Grew Too Much" Groundskeeper Willie says goodbye to his mop as the theme from Titanic plays.

Green Day Barge Sinks.png Green Day's barge starts to sink in the river, whereupon Mike Dirnt says: "Gentlemen, it's been an honor playing with you tonight" and they all take out violins to play. This references the orchestra on board of the Titanic who kept on playing despite the ship sinking.

One of the death traps at Burnsimoto's Castle is "James Cameron Academy Award acceptance speech on a continuous loop", referring to his acceptance speech for best director in 1998 for Titanic. Smithers discourages Mr. Burns from pressing it when Homer falls into the trap, as it would be unbearable, although Burns presses it anyway alongside the other traps. Homer then proceeds to get attacked by various animals and weapons with the words "I'm king of the world!" repeating in the background.
