The eighteenth content update, known as the Level 28 content update, for The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released on April 19, 2013.

The update made Fat Tony available to players who missed out on the opportunity to acquire him during an episode promotion in November 2012. Three buildings were introduced, as well as Legs and Louie, and the premium character, the Rich Texan. One new decoration was also added.

The update was 90.5MB.

After tapping on Quimby's exclamation mark Thank you, Fat Tony, for your generous donation to my Super PAC, "American U.S.A. Minutemen for Freedom, Liberty, Patriotism and America." Will it be satisfactory to secure the reconstruction of my headquarters? Easily done. The person playing this game builds whatever we ask. And pays us whatever random sum of money we demand! There's one born every minute, I suppose. The player receives "Legitimate Business", which is to "Build the Businessman's Social Club". Businessman's Social Club takes 24 hours to build and cost 189,000. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10. Fat Tony comes with Businessman's Social Club if the player haven't unlocked him previously. Build New Character

The Cleaner Pt. 1

After tapping on Smithers's exclamation mark Fat Tony? Mr. Burns requests your company for dinner this evening, to discuss matters of the utmost evil. I'm always happy to have dinner with a fellow villain... which I consider myself, despite the fact I somehow got categorized as an "Wise Guy". The player receives "The Cleaner Pt. 1" which is to "Make Fat Tony Join Mr. Burns for Dinner". It takes 6 hours. The player receives total 550 and 120 in reward.

The Cleaner Pt. 2

After tapping on Mr. Burns's exclamation mark Fat Tony, I need your help. There's a problem I wish to "go away." I trust you see my eyebrows waggling meaningfully as I say "go away?" Just tell me who. My crack team of sociopaths will handle everything. It's not a "who", it's a "what." Some nuclear waste I wish disposed of. We could hide it inside a body bag. People see me burying body bags all the time. It's kind of my thing. Excellent. The player receives "The Cleaner Pt. 2" which is to "Make Fat Tony Get Rid of a Problem". It takes 12 hours. The player receives total 550 and 120 in reward.

The Cleaner Pt. 3

After tapping on Wiggum's exclamation mark Hey, Fat Tony! Wanna tell me why you were digging a hole out in the middle of the night? I was gardening. That's still legal in this state, is it not? Sure, I think. I'm not really up on what's legal and what's not. But if you really WERE gardening, tell me what were you planting? Plants. You're good, Fat Tony. Very Good. And I am correspondingly bad. The player receives "The Cleaner Pt. 3" which is to "Make Fat Tony Play the Violin". It takes 60 minutes. The player receives total 170 and 27 in reward.

The Cleaner Pt. 4

After tapping on Fat Tony's exclamation mark Mr. Burns, I have taken care of that favor for you. And now I would ask you a favor in return. Ugh, you Mafiosi and your favors. How come you can't just accept money as compensation like everyone else in the world? Don't worry -- this will require money. I need to rebuild my compound, so that my beloved goons will return to me. I'm tired of being a Mafia of one. My gun hasn't had a night off in weeks. Consider it done. Every powerful man needs his sycophantic hangers-on. You called for me, sir? The player receives "The Cleaner", which is to "Build Fat Tony's Compound". Fat Tony's Compound takes 1 day and 12 hours to build and cost 110,499. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10. Legs and Louie comes with Fat Tony's Compound. Build New Characters

Badfellas

After tapping on Fat Tony's exclamation mark Welcome back, boys. I trust you have kept your law-breaking skills sharp? I practiced my felonies every day. I extorted mannequins so I wouldn't forget how to do it to people. I look forward to bleeding dry this town we so love. But first, let us toast our touching reunion. The player receives "Badfellas" which is to "Make Legs Drink at Moe's", "Make Louie Drink at Moe's" and "Make Fat Tony Drink at Moe's". The taskes takes 8 hours. The player receives total 925 and 220 in reward.

El Bartito's Way

After tapping on Bart's exclamation mark Hey Fat Tony! I've been looking to take my mischief to the next level. Any chance you could use an extra set of hands? Maybe. Do you know how to mix a Manhattan? Ummm.... booze, some hooch, and then whiskey? That's pretty close, boss. I'll vouch for him. Congratulations, urchin. You are my new bartender. The player receives "El Bartito's Way" which is to "Make Bart Serve Manhattans". It takes 24 hours. The player receives total 700 and 160 in reward. Bart Simpson! What did I tell about joining La Cosa Nostra? You said to not to. If you go joining any mobs, you lose TV privileges for a week. All right, all right! There's no need to get crazy.

Casino Racino

After tapping on Marge's exclamation mark Mayor Quimby, as a mother and a worrywart, I'm concerned about Springfield's growing Mafia problem. There are even reports of unsavory characters down at the dog track. Of all places! Marge, I promise you -- this office will not rest until it looks like we're doing something about the whatever-you're-on-about. In fact I'm so against corruption that many people say 'Corruption' is my middle name. Hmmmm.... The player receives "Casino Racino" which is to "Make Fat Tony Fix Races" and "Make Marge Protest Something". Fat Tony's task takes 2 hours. Marge task takes 24 hours. The player receives total 810 and 187 in reward.

Taking Care Of Business

After tapping on Fat Tony's exclamation mark Boys, Marge Simpson is onto us. Someone in our organization squealed. I need you to find out who. Wouldn't it be easier just to "take care" of this Simpson lady? Louie, Louie, Louie. Women are for taking care of, not "take care" of. Find some guy to nuts on instead. The player receives "Taking Care Of Business" which is to "Make Legs and Louie Interrogate a Squealer". It takes 60 minutes. The player receives total 170 and 27 in reward.

The Italian Job

After tapping on Luigi's exclamation mark Welcome, back, a-Fat a-Tony. I can't tell-a you how I've missed paying for-a your protection. Which I will now collect. Back-dated, of course, to the birth of New Springfield. Luigi - - Sad But I didn't get unlocked until level 18. It's-a not fair! Then you can file a complaint at the monthly meeting of the Extortionee's Committee. The system is in place for a reason. The player receives "The Italian Job" which is to "Make Fat Tony Have a Dinner Special at Luigi's". It takes 4 hours. The player receives total 275 and 55 in reward.

Gangster Paradise

After tapping on Fat Tony's exclamation mark Boys, I require your services. Do you mind? "Antiques Roadshow" is on! My apologies. The Roadshow, as always, takes precedence. The player receives "Gangster Paradise" which is to "Make Legs Sell Smuggled Goods" and "Make Louie Perform a Hit". The taskes takes 8 hours. The player receives total 650 and 150 in reward.

Puff Justice

After tapping on Wiggum's exclamation mark Fat Tony? You and your crew are under arrest. Whatever for, Officer? Impersonating an Ethnic Stereotype. You're sentenced to 24 years in prison! Oops, this says 24 hours. Must be a typo. You're just lucky I don't like refilling out forms. The player receives "´Puff Justice" which is to "Make Fat Tony Run Organized Crime from Prison", "Make Legs Take a break in the Slammer" and "Make Louie Take a break in the Slammer". Fat Tony's task takes 24 hours. Legs and Louie's task takes 4 hours. The player receives total 1,050 and 250 in reward.

Business As Usual

After tapping on Fat Tony's exclamation mark Break's over, boys. Go forth and terrify. The player receives "Business As Usual" which is to "Make Legs 'Protect' Local Businesses" and "Make Louie Collect Tribute". The tasks takes 12 hours. The player receives total 940 and 210 in reward, completing the "Level 28" quest trilogy.

The Rich Texan

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 1

New Character After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark Yee Haw! Always nice to see a fellow libertarian around here. As one of our leading benefactors of government handouts, you might want to rethink your pro-Tea Party position. Nonsense, little lady! Jobless, clueless rubes like Cletus here are the lifeblood upon which the Tea Party's secret corporate backers suck. That came out wrong. I meant to say, "freedom freedom freedom freedom." The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 1" which is to "Reach Level 6 and Build Cletus's Farm", "Make Cletus Go to a Tea Party Rally" and "Make The Rich Texan Go to a Tea Party Rally". The tasks take 60 minutes. The player receives total 805 and 186 in reward.

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 2

After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark I'm bored. You know the problem with having everything? You end up needing nothing. It's horrible! Yeah... that sounds rough. Hey, I know. You could buy a football team! Like your fellow rich Texan, Jerry Jones. Only YOUR team could win once in a while. I love it! But football stadiums are expensive. Unless you can find a city gullible enough to buy one for you... Welcome to Springfield, football! The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 2" which is to "Make The Rich Texan Celebrate Cowboy Style". It takes 24 hours. The player receives total 1,100 and 235 in reward.

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 3

After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark I want our football stadium to have it all. The biggest scoreboard! The largest cheerleaders! The heaviest footballs! And in every corporate suite, the most violent mechanical bull money can buy! The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 3" which is to "Make The Rich Texan Ride the Mechanical Bull". It takes 12 hours. The player receives total 700 and 160 in reward.

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 4

After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark Monty, your estate is sitting right where I want to build my new football stadium. How much you want for it? Listen up, New Money -- not everything is for sale. This is the home where my forefathers lived and murdered each other for a bigger share of the family fortune. It has sentimental value. Then how about a bet? A friendly wager between bitter enemies. A bet, eh? I wager my home, and you put up what? My cowboy hat. It's the one Daniel Boone was born, lived, and died in. Very special. Agreed. Off to the dog track we go! The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 4" which is to "Reach Level 11 and Build Cooling Towers", "Make the Rich Texan Visit the Track" and "Make Mr. Burns Visit the Track". It takes 24 hours to build and costs ???. The tasks take 3 hours. The player receives total 370 and 80 in reward. I win! Though the outcome was never in doubt. That dog and I went to Wharton together.

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 5

After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark Why is it so hard to build a simple football stadium? Homer, I thought you said this town was ripe for the plundering. Well, it's a tough economy. There are two kinds of currency, and one of the is donuts of all things. But we do boast one the corruptest mayors this side of Uzbekistan. You should go bribe him. The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 5" which is to "Make The Rich Texan Lobby Agenda with Mayor Quimby". It takes 2 days. The player receives total 1,100 and 260 in reward. Mayor Quimby, you are easily bought. I admire that in a man. You'll have your football stadium, even if I have to accept a thousand bribes to make it so! Now all I gotta do is convince an NFL team to move here.

The Texan With No Shame Pt. 6

After tapping on The Rich Texan's exclamation mark I can't convince any football teams to come to Springfield! How come no one told me you people have the lowest income in the civilized world? Don't forget our high crime rate, abysmal environmental track record, lousy schools, the near-constant rioting, rogue tidal waves... And we arm our homeless and then proceed to taunt them. It's not a good policy. Every time I come close to sealing the deal, the team moves to Los Angeles. How many teams does that football-crazy town need? I'm awful sorry you didn't get to realize your dream of screwing us all over. But at least you're still rich. You're right! Nothing makes you happy like money! The player receives "The Texan With No Shame Pt. 6" which is to "Make The Rich Texan Celebrate Cowboy Style". It takes 24 hours. The player receives total 1,100 and 235 in reward.
