James Bond is a popular series of spy novels written by Ian Fleming first book published in 1953 until his death in 1964. Since 1962 they've spawned an ongoing series of films in which various actors have portrayed spy 007, with his witty remarks, seductive charms, luck at gambling and preference for cocktails which are "shaken, not stirred."

They end with text reading "James Bond will return" or "James Bond will be back" followed by the title of the next Bond feature film to be produced. 33 "The War of the Simpsons" At Homer and Marge's house party when Patty maces Barney in his left eye, the song playing is The Look of Love by Burt Bacharach and sung by Dusty Springfield which was made for the soundtrack of the Bond spoof Casino Royale. 3 38 "When Flanders Failed" Mr. Burns' stroking a white cat is similar to Ernst Stavro Blofeld stroking his cat. 40 "Homer Defined" Homer stops a possible meltdown the timer which was stopped at "007" seconds left. This is a reference to when an atomic bomb inside Fort Knox and timer displayed 007, the secret agent number of James Bond in Goldfinger.. 41 "Like Father, Like Clown" Krusty's personal assistant Lois Pennycandy is a reference to M's secretary Miss Moneypenny and Lois Maxwell who played Miss Moneypenny in the first 14 Bond movies. The character design is based off of Miss Moneypenny's appearance in Goldfinger. 4 60 "Kamp Krusty" Mr. Black and the counsellors escape by hydrofoil, like some Bond villains have . 65 "Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie" Bart microwaves a James Bond figurine until he melts, while watching and stroking Snowball II, just like Blofeld. 75 "Duffless" Bart is seated and strokes his hamster, just like Blofeld strokes his cat. 79 "Whacking Day" The scene where Groundskeeper Willie meets the Scottish woman is a parody of the movie poster James Bond film For Your Eyes Only. 5 83 "Cape Feare" The Itchy and Scratchy cartoon Spay Anything has Scratchy tied down to be killed by a beam, just like in Goldfinger, while similar Bond music plays. 6 116 "And Maggie Makes Three" In the couch gag Homer shoots at the camera in the style of the Bond Barrel which opens every James Bond movie. 122 "Lisa's Wedding" Homer says to Hugh's parents: "You know what's great about you English? 'Octopussy'. I must have seen that movie... twice!" 128 "Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part One)" Mr. Burns relieving the scale model of Springfield underneath the floor is from the scene with Auric Goldfinger turns some knobs to have the floor move and model of Fort Knox come up to explain his plan to the gangsters in Goldfinger 7 138 "The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular" A deleted scene from "$pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)" shows Homer in the casino dealing cards to James Bont, while several Bond villains (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Oddjob and Jaws) observe. Due to Homer's stupidity Bont loses and is taken away by Blofeld and his cronies. 149 "22 Short Films About Springfield" Milhouse Van Houten has to buy something from Comic Book Guy's store in order to go to the toilet. He suggests a signed James Bond photograph, but Comic Book Guy points out that it's a photo of Sean Connery, signed by Roger Moore, and thus too expensive for him to afford. 8 155 "You Only Move Twice" The title references You Only Live Twice. Hank Scorpio is a send-off of a Bond villain and even ties a spy, James Bont with a Scottish accent like Sean Connery to a table with the intention of killing him by a laser like in Goldfinger. In the final battle Scorpio's main assistant wears only a white bikini like Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder' one in Dr. No and shown crushing her enemies to death with her thighs as Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp did in GoldenEye. The end song which plays over the end credits, Scorpio, is similar to theme song from Goldfinger. 9 190 "Bart Carny" When Cooder wears Homer's clothes, Spud claims that he looks like James Bond. 199 "Girly Edition" Bart does a swivel chair reveal at the Kidz Newz anchor desk to Lisa and says, "So we meet again, Mr. Bond" which is a line from Auric Goldfinger in Goldfinger and then when Lisa tells him to get out of her anchor chair he yells back, "Silence, Octopussy." 11 229 "Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner?" The French chef assembling the eggbeater is a parody of Scaramanga, the main villain in The Man with the Golden Gun assembled the title golden gun. 247 "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge" In The Man with the Golden Gun the main villain Scaramanga assembled with 3 items from his monogrammed golden cigarette case to make the title golden gun which is also what Homer does to make his straw. The show's Bond soundalike theme is played. 13 270 "Treehouse of Horror XII" When the Simpson family decided on what voice they should use for the Ultrahouse 3000, Bart asked if they could use 007. Marge said, "George Lazenby?" (who played Bond only once in On Her Majesty's Secret Service), but Lisa explained he meant Pierce Brosnan. Marge accepted him because he played Remington Steele in Remington Steele (a character modeled on James Bond). 15 314 "Treehouse of Horror XIV" When Homer escapes from God's light with a motorcycle is an reference to James Bond's escape from the Icarus satellite laser from "Die Another Day". 317 "The Regina Monologues" When Tony Blair flies away in a jetpack to the James Bond theme, Thunderball is referenced. The scene where Homer spots Bart and Lisa from the London Eye, pulls a lever and the whole car detaches from the Eye, before skimming across the River Thames, is similar to the water surf gadget scene in "The World Is Not Enough". 331 "Catch 'Em If You Can" When Marge tries to sell Bart and Lisa on going to Dayton, she says that Dayton has a zipper museum and the museum has a zipper from every James Bond. 19 419 "Mona Leaves-a" Mr. Burns's secret missile silo inside the mountain peak in Springfield Monument Park is a reference to the volcano liar in You Only Live Twice. Homer's Union Jack parachute is a reference to the pre-title sequence in The Spy Who Loved Me. 22 477 "The Blue and the Gray" Homer imagines Marge as a Bond Girl, yet she turns into Judi Dench. He then imagines several Bond villains, namely Auric Goldfinger, Oddjob, Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Jaws. 23 506 "The Spy Who Learned Me" The title is a play on The Spy Who Loved Me. Dr. Stradivarius Cain has many similar qualities to James Bond. Cain wears a white diner jacket like Sean Connery as Bond wore and unzipping to reveal another outfit both happen in Goldfinger. Cain wears the same blue swimming trunks Daniel Craig as Bond wore in Casino Royale. Several Bond villains are among the International Brotherhood of Evil. The room where Homer attempts to flirt is based on Piz Gloria, Blofeld's mountaintop lair in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. 24 510 "Treehouse of Horror XXIII" The years as Bart travels into the past in Professor Frink's time machine are marked by posters for Bond picture which were released that same year. 27 580 "Friend with Benefit" Homer gets out of the ocean like Ursula Andress in the Bond film Dr. No while a snippet of the "James Bond Theme" from the film plays. 28 600 "Treehouse of Horror XXVII" The third segment's title "Moefinger" is a reference to Goldfinger. 30 645 "From Russia Without Love" The title is a pun on From Russia With Love. 32 689 "The 7 Beer Itch" During her date with Mr. Burns, Lily tells him that he makes her feel like she's on a date with a James Bond villain. Burns then holds a white cat on his lap and pets it, echoing one of Ernst Stavro Blofield's mannerisms. 705 "The Man from G.R.A.M.P.A." Terrance says he has a "license to kill", a reference to Licence to Kill. The Man with the Golden Retirement Plan and Oldfinger are parodies of the films The Man with the Golden Gun and Goldfinger. 33 715 "Mothers and Other Strangers" The Man with the Golden Doodle is a reference to the film The Man with the Golden Gun.

Simpsons Comics #82 Lisa Goes to Camp Lisa meets Sean Bont at the Smart Kid's Camp. His name is most likely a reference to the aforementioned character James Bont, and Sean Connery who was the first actor to portray James Bond in the films. Simpsons Comics #121 The Town That Time Forgot Professor Frink complains about having to reset all of his timepieces for daylight savings time, including "[his] digital watches with the glowing red numbers like in Live and Let Die". Simpsons Comics #143 Not Duff Enough Homer says that another of his favorite things in the world that was ruined was James Bond. Simpsons Comics #228 Secret Size Me Bart Simpson #8 The Dickens You Say Lisa describes the plot of Great Expectations to Bart for his book report, but deliberately tells it incorrectly. One plot point she includes involves Pip meeting James Bond and becoming a spy. Bart Simpson #18 N/A (front cover) The front cover is a sight gag on the For Your Eyes Only movie poster. Bart Simpson #99 From Malibu With Love The title is a reference to From Russia with Love with several other Bond reference in the story. Simpsons Summer Shindig #6 Anchor Blues Kent Brockman discovers a fencing operation being run out of the Springfield Public Library and finds a copy of Goldfinger being used to transport stolen gold ingots. Bart Simpson's Pal, Milhouse #1 Milhouse Van Houten is Octo-Weenie The James Bond franchise and its films are punned and parodied throughout the story.
