Season 22 is the twenty-second broadcast season of The Simpsons. It originally ran on Fox from September 26, 2010, with "Elementary School Musical", to May 22, 2011, with "The Ned-liest Catch". The season was mostly made up of production season NABF episodes, with seven rollover episodes from production season MABF also airing. Al Jean served as the showrunner for the season.

The season ended with a fan poll on thesimpsons.con to decide on the fate of the relationship between Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel, which was known as "Nedna", with the result being revealed in the season 23 premiere, "The Falcon and the D'ohman". The result of the poll was to have the characters get together.

In Marge's dream, Martha Stewart helps her turn the house into the ultimate festive grotto. Finally, in Maggie's dream, the family are puppets and are visited by Moe and his new girlfriend, Katy Perry.
