Notes

link We have no evidence of when this episode was broadcast by BBC2, but we do know that it did once. Due, presumably, to the offensive song included in the episode, the episode was never broadcast on the channel again.
link Premiere date not confirmed, it is possible the episode premiered on that date.
link Originally planned to air around the time of the 9/11 attacks, presumably late September (the 28th perhaps, to be precise) or even early October, therefore it was pulled from the channel's schedule. It never got chance to air before the rights to air the show acquired by Channel 4. However, on May 8, 2002, the episode was scheduled to air on the channel at 6pm - its first airing; the episode was later pulled and was replaced by a showing of episode 5F11 - "Das Bus".
link The episode was planned to have aired November 30, 1997 at 6:30pm, but was replaced by the premiere of episode 5F04 - "The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons"; Sky said the following on SkyText page 156 on July 3, 1998 on the matter: "Sky won't be showing the episode The Cartridge Family because we feel it is too strong, even for a late slot."
link It is unknown whether this episode moved timeslots because of the episode's themes, most prominently those relating to drugs.
