Antarctica

• "A Totally Fun Thing Bart Will Never Do Again" - The Family is abandoned there after Bart plays a prank onboard the Royalty Valhalla.

Europe

• "The Bart Wants What It Wants" (mentioned) - The Simpson Family went to Europe when Lisa lost her balloon.

• "Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish"" - Abraham Simpson was in the Ardennes in 1944 fighting in World War II.

France

• "The Crepes of Wrath" - Bart Simpson, on a foreign exchange trip.
• "The Devil Wears Nada" - Homer Simpson, for the Annual Nuclear Power Expo in Paris that Carl invited him to.
• "Bart-Mangled Banner" - After escaping the Ronald Reagan Reeducation Center the family is picked up by a French freighter, and are taken to France where they stay a while, becoming well adjusted. They decide to come back to America though, because all their stuff is there.

• "In the Name of the Grandfather" - Grampa goes there with the Simpsons after they fail to go to the Retirement Castle family picnic.

• "The Italian Bob" - The Simpsons visit Italy to pick up a Lamborgotti Fasterossa for Mr. Burns.

• "Elementary School Musical" - Bart and Homer travel with Krusty to Oslo so he can accept the Nobel peace prize. It turns out to be a trick, however, and they end up in The Hague so Krusty can be tried in front of the International Court of Justice.

• "Treehouse of Horror XIV" - The Simpsons travel to Stockholm to see Professor Frink accept the Nobel Prize.

• "Monty Can't Buy Me Love" - Homer goes with Mr. Burns and Groundskeeper Willie to Scotland in order to retrieve the Loch Ness Monster.
• "Ae Bonny Romance" - Simpson family follow Groundskeeper Willie to Scotland where he gets marry.

• "The Regina Monologues" - The Family visit London.
• "The Regina Monologues" - Abe was stationed there in WWII.

Asia

China

• "Goo Goo Gai Pan" - The family visit China with Selma to adopt Ling Bouvier.
• "Homer the Father" - Homer goes to China along with three CIA agents. The agents took Homer so they could use his knowledge of nuclear power to build their own power plant. Obviously, this plan failed and after the plant exploded Homer ran away.

India

• "Homer and Apu" - Homer goes with Apu to the Kwik-E-Mart head office to help Apu get his job back.
• "Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore" - Homer goes to visit the relocated Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and his family comes to get him after they are told Homer has isolated the plant and it's workers from the outside world, and claims to be a god.

• "The Greatest Story Ever D'ohed" - The family visit Israel with Ned.

• "Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo" - The family visit Tokyo on holiday.

Russia

• "Simpson Tide" - While commanding a submarine Homer accidentally pilots it into Russian waters.

• "The Bart Wants What It Wants" - The family visit Toronto.
• "Midnight Rx" - Homer and Grampa go to Winnipeg to obtain cheap prescription drugs.

• "Lisa the Drama Queen" - Principal Skinner mentions seeing photos of the Simpsons' trip to Yosemite.

• "We're on the Road to D'ohwhere" - Bart was on a plane that was just about to land in Atlanta. The plane had to go all the way back to Minneapolis, however, because Bart undid his seatbelt when he wasn't supposed to.

• "Little Big Mom" - Ned sends Homer and Bart to a leper colony in Hawaii after Lisa tricks them.

Louisiana

• "The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase" - The Simpsons show up in a Chief Wiggum spin-off set in New Orleans.

Michigan

• "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" - Herb Powell has his mansion in Detroit, Michigan, and the Simpsons went to visit him.

Minnesota

• "We're on the Road to D'ohwhere" - Bart had taken a plane from Minneapolis to Atlanta, however, because he had undid his seatbelt before he was supposed to, the plane had to go all the way back to Minneapolis.

Missouri

• "The Old Man and the Key" - The Simpsons go to Branson, Missouri to get Abe, who went to find his girlfriend there.

Nevada

• "Viva Ned Flanders" - Homer and Ned visit Las Vegas.

New Jersey

• "Catch 'Em If You Can" - Homer and Marge go to Atlantic City to escape the kids; Bart and Lisa follow.
• "The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace" - Homer and Bart go to Menlo Park to see the inventions in the Edison Museum.
• "D'oh Canada" - While at Niagara Falls Bart and Lisa are in life-size plastic bubbles as part of the Battle for the Falls attraction. Homer suggests he and Marge do a little bouncing around on their own. Marge says that's more romantic than what he said at Fort Dix.

New York

• "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson" - Family goes to New York city to retrieve the family car after Barney left it there.
• "Catch 'Em If You Can" - Homer and Marge go to Niagara Falls to escape the kids; Bart and Lisa follow.
• "Moonshine River" - The family visit again, for Bart and Homer to find Mary Spuckler, and Marge and Lisa find something cheap to do there.

• "We're on the Road to D'ohwhere" - Homer takes Bart to a discipline camp.

Pennsylvania

• "Home Away from Homer" - Homer goes to Humbleton to bring back Ned Flanders.

South Dakota

• "We're on the Road to D'ohwhere" - While driving Bart to a discipline camp, Homer passes a sign that reads: "Mount Rushmore, 20 feet out of your way."

• "Bart on the Road" - Bart, Nelson, Milhouse, and Martin all go to the grounds of the Knoxville World's Fair.

• "Any Given Sundance" - The Family goes to the Sundance Film Festival, held in Park City.

• "Moe'N'a Lisa" - The Family goes with Moe to see him compete in a poetry festival.

• "Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore" - When Patty and Selma show Richard Dean Anderson a number of vacation slides in order to get him to leave them alone, one of the slides they show him is of the Luray Caverns.

• "Mom and Pop Art" - Homer mentions that he and Barney had taken a trip to Machu Picchu.
• "Lost Verizon" - Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie went to Machu Picchu to look for Bart.
