"It's a Wonderful Slice" is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #47.

Synopsis[edit]

Scratchy decides that he's had enough of Itchy and decides to kill himself. Itchy tries to talk him out of it by posing as his guardian angel.

Plot[edit]

Itchy tells Scratchy that there's something wrong with his cannon and asks Scratchy to take a look at it. Scratchy puts his head in the cannon, and Itchy lights it, blasting Scratchy away and making his neck stretch. Scratchy decides that he's had enough and he's going to end it all. He goes to a bridge with a rock tied to him by his tail and plans to jump into the water. Just then, a guardian angel, which is actually Itchy in disguise, appears to him and asks what Itchy will do without Scratchy. He shows Itchy harming himself because he misses Scratchy, so Scratchy decides to see if Itchy will take him back before he hugs the angel. Itchy says that every time a bell rings, a sucker gets what's coming to him, then rings a bell. He then shoves a Christmas tree down Scratchy's throat and decorates it.
