Synopsis[edit]
Plot[edit]
Ned, Rod, and Todd greet the reader and tell them that they're planning to teach everyone about auto safety. He then says that there's nothing kids love more than learning about safety, which causes Rod to cheer and Todd to agree with him. His first lesson is about seat belts, and he straps Todd into the car with multiple belts. His second lesson is about speed, saying that speed limit signs are helpful suggestions, and you can drive a lot slower than they say. He also tells the reader that anyone honking their horns is seriously safety-savvy. Krusty's limo then overtakes Ned's car, and Krusty makes a rude hand gesture at them. Ned tells Rod and Todd to wave back, thinking he's a gang member. Ned also says that it's a good idea to leave your defroster on at all times, because you never know when frost could happen. Rod and Todd are seen struggling from the heat in the car. Ned finishes his safety lessons saying that there's nothing like a family drive for good wholesome thrills. Rod points out that a car's bumper stickers have bad swears on them, and Todd says that his feet are turning blue from lack of circulation.
