Bart Draws a Strip is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.

Synopsis[edit]

Bart draws a comic strip featuring Lisa as the main character.

Plot[edit]

In a comic strip made by Bart, the reader is introduced to a girl named Lisa who likes to "smell stinky flowers" and read books. In the strip, she gets chased by an angry tiger. (Originally, Bart had written that Lisa would be chased by a rhino, but he did not know how to spell the word "rhino", so he changed it to a tiger.) Lisa decides to hide in a cave, but she finds that there was another tiger in the cave, which eats her.

The real-life Lisa is then seen reading the strip, and she complains to Bart that all of his comic strips are about her being eaten by animals. Bart then tells her that she wouldn't believe how much money he has spent on red crayons.
