Synopsis[edit]
- Homer shows off his home repair and improvements tips.
Homer tells the reader that you don't need to be an expert at home repair to successfully fix things around the house. One day, he came home from work and tried to take his steel-toed boots off. However, he struggled to do so and fell into the wall, making a hole in it. He used the Scene from Moby Dick painting to repair the hole. Another time, Homer crashed into the wall of his house, cracking it. After finding that Surly Joe wanted $6,000 to repair it, Homer painted over the cracks instead. Finally, when the power goes out in the house from overuse, Homer steals power from Flanders' house.
