Synopsis[edit]
- Mr. Burns and Smithers look for another corporation to take over to make Burns' corporation even bigger.
Plot[edit]
On Channel 6 News, Kent Brockman reports on the merger of Omni Global Monolith Corp. and Superuberopolis.com. Mr. Burns and Smithers see this report, and Burns asks his assistant what a merger is. Smithers explains that a merger involves one huge corporation taking over another huge corporation to become an even larger corporation. Burns likes the idea and wants to take over a company, so Smithers comes up with a list of possible targets for a merger or hostile takeover. Smithers suggests several different corporations, with Burns shooting them all down. Smithers then suggests Healco.com, an Internet health organization. Burns is initially against the suggestion, but Smithers convinces him to go for it because of Burns' holdings in the tobacco, lead paint, and snowmobile industries.
Later, Kent Brockman reports on the merger failing because Burns was furious that Healco employees don't wear traditional business attire, instead opting for casual clothing. Burns complains about their clothing again, then tells Smithers that he wants to devote more time to Pocket Monsters cards.
