J. Michael "Mike" Mendel (September 24, 1964 - September 22, 2019) was a producer for The Simpsons. He served as an associate producer, co-producer and producer. He later went on to become a producer for Rick and Morty and worked on the Rick and Morty couch gag. After his death, the season 31 episode "The Winter of Our Monetized Content" was dedicated to him.
