Springfield's black hole is a black hole in Springfield.

History[edit]

When the Springfield Subatomic Supercollider was activated, particles were shot around it and eventually collided with each other. This caused a miniature black hole which then broke out of the particle accelerator and sucked up Groundskeeper Willie. It then managed to get out of the facility where it then sucked up Ralph and Nelson. Lisa then took the black hole home to keep people safe from it. After talking to her family about it, she and Marge told everyone not to throw stuff into it to stop it from getting any bigger. However, the family threw stuff into it anyway.

Eventually, the black hole started to suck in objects from around the house too, which Lisa realized meant that people had been putting stuff into the black hole. The doorbell then rang, which was people of Springfield wanting to dispose of objects in the black hole because Homer started a business called Magic Craphole Waste Removal. The Simpson house then got destroyed by the black hole and people started putting stuff in until it reached a stage just before it hit maximum intensity. Lisa said that if anything else entered the black hole, it would hit critical mass. Milhouse, who was playing baseball at the time, hit a home run and the ball entered the black hole. The black hole quickly expanded and sucked in all of Springfield and its people, until it sucked up the Simpsons and then Maggie's pacifier. This left Maggie all alone in the ruined Springfield.

The black hole then turned out to be a portal to another world where the Ethereal Beings were grateful for all the "gifts" that people had been sending them.
