DABF FABF

EABF is the fifteenth production season of The Simpsons. Al Jean served as the showrunner for the season. The episodes mostly aired in broadcast season 14 on Fox, with five rollover episodes from the production season airing in broadcast season 15. The episodes aired from December 15, 2002 with "The Great Louse Detective", to November 30, 2003 with "The Fat and the Furriest".

After Principal Skinner once again lets Mrs. Krabappel down, Bart nominates Krabappel for the "teacher of the year" award. The nomination is accepted, and soon the Simpson family and Mrs. Krabappel go to the award ceremony in Orlando, Florida, where Skinner tries to get Edna back.

Lisa becomes angry after watching a horribly inaccurate video that Homer gives to her as a birthday gift. The video shows Homer's complete lack of knowledge regarding his daughter, so he decides to hire a private detective to learn more about Lisa.

Marge takes up bodybuilding to boost her self-esteem after a mugging, but the family finds they just can't cope with a Marge who can bench-press 500 pounds. And things only get worse after Marge starts taking steroids.

After finding an embarrassing advert that Bart starred in when he was a baby, for which Homer had spent the money received, Bart moves out with half of Homer's money going to him. However, Bart finds that living alone isn't as great as he expected.

Homer turns to religion to help him get what he wants, and is soon awarded the First Church of Springfield in an injury settlement. Homer then turns the church into his personal party pad, and Reverend Lovejoy leaves Springfield to wallow in its hedonism.

Due to air traffic being redirected over Evergreen Terrace, the Simpsons get Krusty to run for Congress, and he wins. However, when he tries to get anything done, he finds that Congress doesn't actually get anything done.

On Valentine's Day, Homer attends a college course on how to succeed in the corporate world. After the course, he tricks Mr. Burns and becomes the owner of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and promptly fires Burns. However, he soon realizes that running the plant means being away from his family.

When Lisa is told that she has no future, she decides to focus on astronomy, and her first aim is to get the city to turn off the lights to watch the comets rain at night. Meanwhile, the school bullies try to convince Bart to steal a car hood ornament.

While searching in his closet, Homer discovers an old letter written by Marge that claims that she no longer loves him, which leads to Homer moving out. He finds a new apartment in Springfield's gay district and moves in with a homosexual couple, Julio and Grady.

Homer's song, "Everybody Hates Ned Flanders", becomes a hit in Springfield. But when the song repeatedly plays everywhere they go and gets too much for them, the family leaves Springfield to live a couple of weeks in a ranch to escape it.

When Santa's Little Helper doesn't save Homer from a fire in Bart's newly refurbished treehouse, he disowns the family dog. But when Santa's Little Helper is made into the new mascot for Duff Beer, Homer quickly changes his tune, until the dog's previous owner shows up.

Homer has a car accident and loses his driver's license, which means that Marge now has to do all of the family's driving. Homer comes to enjoy walking instead of driving, but the extra responsibility stresses out Marge. This leads up to Marge accidentally hitting Homer with the car, putting a strain on their marriage.

Marge makes Bart quit hanging out with Milhouse after the two are caught invading the Flanders' home. She then starts a peer group based around Native American life for Bart and other kids to participate in. When Bart finds out Milhouse has joined a different peer group, they are soon at odds as they see whose group can do more community service around Springfield.

When Maggie is flung out of the Simpsons' car during a car crash, she lands safely in the arms of Moe, who is about to jump off a bridge. Moe's newfound status as a hero, and Maggie's adoration for him, give him a new lease on life. However, Moe's new overprotectiveness for Maggie causes issues with Homer and Marge.

On the lam for years, Homer's mother returns to Springfield only to have the police catch up to her once and for all. Desperate not to lose her again, Homer busts her out of jail by taking control of the prison bus she's being transported in.

Lisa is elected student-body president at Springfield Elementary and immediately falls foul of Principal Skinner, who fools her into taking popular classes off the curriculum. Angry at his deception, she retaliates by calling her classmates out on strike.

In "Reaper Madness", Homer becomes the new Grim Reaper after killing the old Reaper. In "Frinkenstein", Professor Frink brings his father back from the dead, who then strives to make himself the ultimate body out of the parts of living people. And finally, in "Stop the World, I Want to Goof Off", Bart and Milhouse get a stopwatch that can stop time and use it to play pranks on the townspeople.

The Simpsons journey to London, where Grampa attempts to reconnect with a long-lost flame while Bart and Lisa go nuts after sampling British chocolate. After Homer has a fender-bender with a golden coach belonging to the Queen, the family must again plead their way out of a foreign land.
