QABF is the thirty-third production season of The Simpsons. Matt Selman and Al Jean served as the showrunner for the season, alternating episodes, with Selman running 12 and Jean running 10. The episodes mostly aired in broadcast season 32 on Fox, with seven rollover episodes from the production season airing in broadcast season 33. The episodes aired from November 22, 2020 with "Three Dreams Denied", to November 14, 2021 with "A Serious Flanders (Part 2)".

In "Nightmare on Elm Tree", the trees of Springfield come to life and wage war on humanity. In "Poetic Interlude", Vincent Price reads the story of The Telltale Bart. Finally, in "Dead Ringer", a cursed TikTok video causes anyone who watches it to die.
