AABF is the eleventh production season of The Simpsons. Mike Scully served as the showrunner for the season. The episodes mostly aired in broadcast season 10 on Fox, with four rollover episodes from the production season airing in broadcast season 11. The episodes aired from October 25, 1998 with "Treehouse of Horror IX", to November 7, 1999 with "E-I-E-I-(Annoyed Grunt)".

In "Starship Poopers," Maggie's real father is revealed to be Kang, which leads to a custody dispute and an appearance on The Jerry Springer Show.
