TABF is the twenty-seventh production season of The Simpsons. Al Jean served as the showrunner for most of the season while Matt Selman served as the showrunner for TABF02, TABF09, TABF17, and TABF22. The episodes mostly aired in broadcast season 26 on Fox, with seven rollover episodes from the production season airing in broadcast season 27. The episodes aired from November 16, 2014 with "Blazed and Confused", to November 22, 2015 with "Lisa with an "S"".
The TABF season also included the special stage show The Simpsons Take the Bowl.

| When a new teacher, Jack Lassen, comes to Springfield Elementary, he is put in charge of Bart's class and starts bullying the students. Bart's plan to take down his new teacher involves the family going to Blazing Guy so they can embarrass him while he's taking part in something that matters to him.

| Homer has a mid-life crisis after Moe's shuts down and Moe takes off on a trip with King Toot. Homer takes up bass guitar and forms a cover band with some of the other dads in town. But the band's modest early success is soon overwhelmed by the breakout potential of Apu, who is then headhunted by a much more famous band.

When Kemi ends up at Moe's, Moe jumps to the conclusion that she must be related to the Nigerian prince who scammed him over email and schemes to get his money back. But much to his surprise, he finds himself falling for the princess.
