Springfield of Tomorrow is a film about Springfield in the future as predicted in 1956.
History
Bart's class watched the film. The movie shows how the Springfielders of the future get around town. First we see Bill, who takes the bus, and then Sam, who takes the subway. Then we see Mel shopping with his wife before they pick up their child, Junior, from school. In the next scene, Mel reads the evening paper before they flash-freeze Junior until further notice.
