Episodes[edit]

Picture Season Episode number Episode name Reference
2 16 "Treehouse of Horror" As the bugs get electrocuted by Homer's bug-zapper one of them yells "Ow!" in a tiny, high-pitched voice, implying it's a mutated human fly like in 'The Fly'.
Fly Bart.png 9 182 "Treehouse of Horror VIII" The "Fly vs. Fly" segment is an entire parody of the film. Bart turns in a partial fly mutant thanks to a failed experiment. The scene where he is stuck in a spider's web parodies the 1958 original, while the more icky scenes reference the 1986 remake.

Frog Prince.png 13 270 "Treehouse of Horror XII" Frog Prince transformed by Bart is a reference to the final part of the 1986 film.
