Soylent Green is a thriller film released in 1973 starring Charlton Heston. It takes place in a dystopian future where the Earth is heavily overpopulated and half of the world's food supply is produced by Soylent Industries, whose most nutritious product is Soylent Green. The film's protagonist, Detective Frank Thorn, investigates a murder connected to Soylent Industries, and eventually learns that Soylent Green is made from people.
