Description
This is the first level to feature Lisa as a playable character, as well as all of her powers.
Synopsis
- "Lisa enlists Bart's help to take down a tree-cutting factory."
Plot
Bart and Lisa are outside Mr. Burns' "Auntie Nature" lumbering company. Bart tells Lisa of his powers and, after she sees she has powers too, she decides to stop Mr. Burns' company from cutting down trees. While Mr. Burns and Smithers are in the office commenting Mr. Burn's logging evil plans, Bart and Lisa start knocking out the workers to enter the lumbering plant. Once inside, Lisa uses her "Hand of Buddha" power: when entering a meditation point on a statue of Buddha Lisa's hand appears in the sky and she can move it to grab big objects and drop them on specific places. She drops logs to make a ladder to a switch that opens the gate to another section of the plant. Now, she uses her Hand of Buddha to rip off the cover off a pipe, which releases smoke. Bart opens his Bartman cape and jumps on the smoke to be launched to a big log conveyor belt. Lisa jumps on a spring to the conveyor belt. They disable a machinery in the belt, and continue along when they get to a section of spinning saw blades. Bart uses his slingshot to destroy it and, after the saw blades stop, they both proceed to a section full of saw blades, which they turn off. To cross a green pool, Lisa drops a big part of the conveyor belt with Buddha's Hand on the river as a bridge. Then Carl and Lenny are seen on a tree, watching birds, when they listen to a weird sound, which turns out to be a chainsaw cutting down the tree. They both fall to a conveyor belt, but can't get up because they're trapped on the debris. After knocking out some loggers, Lisa uses Buddha's Hand to drop big canisters on a conveyor belt. They explode, and destroy the machine, which launches a spring that Bart uses to jump to a river. He grabs a zipline and crosses the river. In a parody of the videogame Frogger, Lisa jumps on several logs, giant turtles and three-eyed crocodiles to get to the other side. With Buddha's Hand, Lisa picks up and drops some pipes so Bart can get on some machines jumping on the smoke. Carl and Lenny head to some spinning gears. Lisa grabs the debris on them and saves them, though Carl and Lenny don't remember Bart and Lisa's names. Bart uses his slingshot to shoot at a target that makes the logging plant explode, though several loggers are now unemployed. Mr. Burns decides to have his revenge on Al Gore.
Gameplay
Once the level begins, beat up the lumberjacks to get the door to open. Inside the next area, there is a Clobber Girl powerup. Beat up the lumberjacks and destroy the toilet they spawn out of. Then go to the Buddha statue and use Lisa's Hand of Buddha powers to move the bits of tree to make platforms up to the wall. Jump up and pull the lever, which opens the doors. In the next area, take out the lumberjacks and the toilet spawning them and use Lisa's Buddha powers to remove the stop on the smoke. Have Bartman use the smoke to glide up and knock a spring down for Lisa to jump up with. Carry along the conveyor belts and stand on the pressure pads to destroy the spinning crushers. Continue on until you get to the spinning blades. Have Bart jump past them to get to a platform. Bart must then use his slingshot to hit a target, breaking the spinning blades. Continue on, avoiding the spinning blades, until you get to a lever. Pull the lever and jump down. Defeat the lumberjacks in this area then use Hand of Buddha to grab a piece of conveyor belt over the other side of the toxic goo. Drop the conveyor belt on top of the goo to make a bridge across.
Continue on, defeating all the lumberjacks as you go. Eventually, the player will get to a dead end and two barrels of toxic waste. Use Hand of Buddha to drop the toxic waste onto the conveyor belt to break it. Then use the spring to jump over the logs and carry on to the next area. Use Bartman to zipline across the river and take out the lumberjacks on the other side. Then use the lever to open the floodgates and get platforms moving over the river. Get Lisa across the river then use the Hand of Buddha to rearrange the pipes to get a way up for Bartman. At this point, a one minute timer will start to save Lenny and Carl. Climb up as Bartman and pull a lever to make a way up for Lisa. Get Lisa to the Buddha Statue and use the Hand of Buddha to remove the tree from Lenny and Carl, saving them. Continue on to the factory itself and have Bart shoot a target within the spinning blades with his slingshot, which destroys the factory.
