Coincidentally, his last appearance was as the first ever special guest to appear in The Simpsons: Tapped Out in the SciFi event in August 2016.

Brian Posehn, the actor who plays the role of Bert the geologist, a recurring character in The Big Bang Theory, will guest star in the upcoming season 28 episode "A Father's Watch". He has also written the script of the Simpsons Comics story Gnaws.
