Sesame Street is an educational television program designed for preschoolers, and is recognized as a pioneer of the contemporary standard which combines education and entertainment in children's television shows.

"Brother From the Same Planet" - Homer compares a Homeless guy to Oscar the Grouch
"Miracle on Evergreen Terrace" - Milhouse gets a Tickle-me-Krusty, a parody of Tickle-me-Elmo
"Trash of the Titans" - During "The Garbage Man", Oscar pops out of one of the bins
"Missionary: Impossible" - After Homer scams the PBS telethon, Oscar the Grump and Elmaux chase Homer, as well as Big Bird. According to the DVD commentary, it is Oscar the Grump and Elmaux to make it legal.

"The Girl Who Slept Too Little" - Marge admits her dislike for the Count when a clip of him is shown on TV.
"Stop Or My Dog Will Shoot - Chief Wiggum has a sweater he knitted that shows Big Bird pushing Elmo into a saw.
"E Pluribus Wiggum" - When Ralph is voted as a candidate, Chief Wiggum tries to help him make up his mind about which party to support, stating that the Republican party's mascot is an elephant, and the Democrats mascot is a donkey. When asking who he likes better, Ralph says that he likes Elmo. On a talk show, it is asked if Ralph can go from Sesame Street to Pennsylvania Avenue.
"Funeral For a Fiend" - Moe watches the DVD in the Hibbert's car, showing Big Bird in China. He wonders if Grover would be lonley, but it turns out he is with Derek Jeter.
"Dial N For Nerder" - Maggie switches to Elmo's website after realizing the family may be watching her play online poker.
"Eeny Teeny Maya Moe" - Costumed version of Big Bird, Elmo and Count von Count are waiting for the rink to clear to perform Seaseme Street on Ice
"The Color Yellow" - Ralph's picture includes Elmo
"To Surveil With Love" - Maggie is seen watching a security camera which she thinks is Seaseme Street, but is actually a gay bar with people who looks similar to Bert, Ernie, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.
"Treehouse of Horror XXI" - In Dracula-la Land, Count von Count is seen biting Big Bird for blood.

The Simpsons appeared in the celebrity version of the Sesame Street song "Monster in the Mirror." The Simpsons replace two monsters on a wall painting, and at the end, Homer reprimands Bart (who yells "Hey, wubba man!").
