The Timberlog Diner is a diner under a mountain in Springfield.
History
After Mona Simpson left Grampa, Grampa threw everything that reminded him off the mountain that The Timberlog Diner was under. This included Mona's pie recipes. The recipes fell onto the ground around the diner where the owner found them and used them to make the diner popular.
Years later, the Simpson family went to the diner after failing to find the recipes that Homer wanted. After realizing that the pie the diner was serving tasted just like his mother's, Homer asked the owner where she got the recipes from. The owner then handed Homer the recipes again.
