After Krusty has recorded his show, Sideshow Mel tells him that Kent Brockman has been detained in traffic, so Krusty will stand in for him. Krusty tells the viewers that Springfield residents should be on the alert for tornadoes next week, and starts to joke about it but when nobody laughs, he asks why he got fired from the news.
