Brunchhausen by Loxy is a restaurant in Springfield.

History

The Simpson family dined at Brunchhausen by Loxy after Homer became a successful crossing guard. When Francine tried to give Homer the check, Homer got annoyed at her charging him as he was the one who kept her children safe in the mornings. Despite Francine not having children, she told him it was on the house because Homer scared her.

Chief Wiggum later revealed that Brunchhausen by Loxy had been poisoning its customers for attention.

Behind the Laughter

The name Brunchhausen by Loxy is a reference to Munchausen by proxy, a condition in which a caregiver creates the appearance of health problems in another person.
