David "Davy" Eric Lauterbach, also credited as Dave Lauterbach and Davey Lauterbach, (born May 4, 1972) is an American animator, painter and poet. He serves as an animatic layout artist and character layout artist and previously served as a color designer and assistant director for The Simpsons.
