740 Evergreen Terrace is a house in Evergreen Terrace that was inhabited by Mr. and Mrs. Winfield[1] and later Ruth and Laura Powers.[2] It is one door right from the Simpsons and two doors down from the Flanders. Sideshow Bob, disguised as Walt Warren, moved into the house, until he was arrested again. The real Walt Warren then moved out of 740 Evergreen Terrace, and the house is now occupied by a cousin of Ned Flanders, Ted Flanders.[3] Ted Flanders later moved, and Terrence and Emily moved in with their two kids. During this time, the house was renovated. After a while, they moved with many of their cool friends, leaving the house currently vacant.[4].
In one of the Simpsons comics, Mawn Money, The Simpsons also have an another neighbor who convinces Bart to own his company. Also, in Simpson Comic 195, Homer has Hipster neighbors.
The house had a large swimming pool.

There are many tasks that characters of Tapped Out can do in the house. Homer breaks into the house and watches their 3D TV. Apu relaxes in the house. Mayor Quimby takes naps in the house. Bart and Milhouse paintball in the house. Martin paintballed with them once. The brown house, after renovation (appearing in "The Day the Earth Stood Cool") was available for two weeks as a separate building, called in-game the "Cool Brown House".[5]
