When Animals Attack! is a series of television specials that aired on Fox in the mid-1990s in the USA. The specials are compilations of video clips showing various animals attacking humans. The series has been referenced and parodied several times in The Simpsons media.

After the last building collapse clip, Homer changes the channel and finds a show called When Surgery Goes Wrong.
	10	219	"Make Room for Lisa"	In an attempt to cheer up Lisa, Homer turns on the TV and changes the channel to When Animals Attack Magicians. In the program, a man tells an ape to pick a card and then screams when the ape attacks him. Lisa is disgusted and says, "That's awful!" Homer quickly contradicts her, saying, "Awful entertaining!"
	13	287	"I Am Furious (Yellow)"	While Homer is watching TV, he sees a teaser ad for When Dinosaurs Get Drunk.

Simpsons Comics #42	The Homer Show	When the FOX network executives meet to discuss building a reality show around Homer, the boss says they can't rely on viewers sending in random videotapes. A junior exec protests that's how they already do all their shows and cites When Pets Go Postal and World's Zaniest Police Chases as examples.
Simpsons Comics #53	Around Town with Ned Flanders	Chief Wiggum is featured in a FOX television special titled When Good Snacks Go Bad, a parody of When Animals Attack!.
