Contents
Description[edit]
After the level "Enter the Cheatrix" is completed, three more levels open up. These are "The Day of the Dolphin", "Shadow of the Colossal Donut" and "Invasion of the Yokel-Snatchers". These can be taken in any order.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Bart and Homer go to stop the alien invasion in Springfield once and for all."
Plot[edit]
The aliens are stealing the Springfield Mall using a tractor beam. Cletus angrily tells them to stop since he has coupons for a TV. The aliens beam him onto their spaceship for an anal probe, and Bart and Homer set out to defeat them. The mall and parking lot are destroyed, with huge fiery chasms and wrecked trucks. Homer and Bart cross the obstacles, fighting aliens, and reach a wrecked building where they open doors by stepping on carpets. After defeating waves of aliens, they are beamed onto the spaceship, where they find Cletus and a pig trapped. They free Cletus, who helps them with his rifle. On the main level, alien portals keep sending enemies until Homer destroys the portals. A pink console activates a platform, and Sideshow Bob appears, having helped the aliens. After quoting Shakespeare, he steps on a rake, hitting himself in the face. Kang and Kodos watch from their spaceship, and Kang blames Kodos for leaving the rake, only to step on one himself.
Gameplay[edit]
Xbox 360/PS3 and Wii/PS2/PSP Version[edit]
When the level starts, use the RoboBart power-up to quickly clear out the alien horde. Once they're gone, climb the black net on the side of the tractor-trailer as Bart, and have Homer use the helium tank. Move forward, taking down more aliens, until you reach the next helium tank. Use Helium Homer's dash to cross the chasm, then pull the lever to activate an updraft. Bart can now glide across to the Hailstone's building and take out more aliens. At the next chasm, switch to Homerball and dash to the lower ledge on the other side. Bounce up using the tires, then pull the lever to activate the steam updraft for Bart to glide across and join Homer at the broken building. Step on the pressure pads to open the doors. Inside, use Bart's lasers to take out waves of aliens while avoiding the passing ship's damaging lasers. Switch to Homerball for any remaining aliens. In the Wii/PS2/PSP version, this segment is skipped.
Inside the UFO, pull the lever near the probing machine to free Cletus. Switch to Homerball to dash into the glowing green platforms around the spaceship, hitting each target as they appear. As green aliens start firing lasers, grab food from crates (or switch a lever to a machine that makes food come out in the Wii/PS2/PSP version) before hitting the last portals. Once all the alien portals are destroyed, press the button that appears to turn off the tractor beam and end the level.
DS Version[edit]
The aliens will attack in several waves, starting slow but speeding up with each wave. By the third wave, they'll fire more often and have double health. Focus on taking out the front rows quickly, then clear the rest from one side to the other.
Things To Do[edit]

- Rescue Cletus.
- Disable the alien portals.
