EA Food's Bite Night: The Chompion is a mini-game exclusively on the Wii version of The Simpsons Game.

Gameplay

To unlock characters for the minigame, find a yellow light with a boxing glove icon in the main levels:

Land of Chocolate: In the first part of the Chocolate City.

Around the World in 80 Bites: Next to the food stand at the start.

Invasion of the Yokel-snatchers: On the red trailer at the end.

Game Over: In front of the Flying Heavenfish shack.

As Homer, you compete in an eating contest against different characters. The goal is to score more points than your opponent by eating food. Eating healthy food will make you lose points. The contest has three 30-second rounds, and the player with the highest score at the end wins.

The Quick and the Starved

The gameplay in this mode is simple. Shake the nunchuck to eat food on the left and shake the Wiimote to eat food on the right. The key is quick reaction time and avoiding healthy foods. Healthy foods are usually green (or white/pink for turnips), while unhealthy foods are brown, white, yellow, or red—so focus on those colors.

If two food items appear at once, shake both controllers, and Homer will reach for both. This increases your chances of getting at least one if your opponent grabs the first item.

The Fat and the Furious

In this mode, you eat food by quickly shaking both the nunchuck and Wiimote. To push away healthy food, shake the Wiimote and press the B button. If you fill up your burp meter, press the A button to burp on opponents and stun them.

Your goal is to eat as much as possible, but avoid healthy foods since they'll cost you points. Focus on avoiding green foods. Keep a fast rhythm of shaking the controllers and pushing away healthy items. Don't slow down—keep shaking the controllers as fast as you can to maximize your eating!

Opponents

  • White Chocolate Rabbit (The Land of Chocolate)
  • Barney (Around the World in 80 Bites)
  • Comic Book Guy (Invasion of the Yokel-Snatchers)
  • Akira (Game Over)

Behind the Laughter

It parodies EA's Fight Night series of games.
