The gay village is a neighborhood in Springfield. It is described by Homer as a well-kept street with a lot of gay bookstores.

History[edit]

When Homer was temporarily living away from Marge, he saw an advert for a room in an apartment in Village Apartments, owned by Julio and Grady. The apartment was located in the gay village, although Homer didn't realize it at the time. When he arrived in the gay village, Homer saw Waylon Smithers coming out of Sconewall Bakery.

Other businesses in the gay village include Alternative Knifestyles, Armistead's Mopeds, Fab Abs, Victor/Victoria's and One Night Stan's.
