"We Put the Spring in Springfield" is a song sung by Homer, Belle and other Springfielders.

History[edit]

While Homer and Bart witness the townsfolk destroying the Masion Derrière, Homer starts singing how Springfield needs the house. Soon, everyone joins in with the song. Marge arrives soon after the help them destroy the house with a bulldozer, but she didn't hear the song so she doesn't know everyone changed their mind. She starts her own song, but she accidentally destroys the house.[1] Later, Marge reminded Homer the time he sang this song, just after saying when he hated singing.[2]
