Springfield City Zoo is a zoo in Springfield.

History

When Apu and Manjula had their Octuplets, Larry Kidkill offered them an exhibit in the Zoo to help take some of the childcare responsibilities away from them. They accepted this and moved into an exhibit with a nursery. What they didn't realize was that the babies were contracted to perform in stage shows, which Apu and Manjula disliked. Apu and Homer then went to the zoo at night to take the babies back. Larry Kidkill caught them and Homer offered himself as an exhibit in place of the Octuplets.

Exhibits and shows

Name Image Notes Giraffes Gorillas Mother gorilla was trying to get Homer and Apu to take her child with them. Kangaroos Larry Kidkill told Apu to look at a kangaroo and try not to laugh. Koalas Were seen eating an animal at night. Turtle Was seen swinging from trees at night.

Former exhibits

Name Image Notes Homer and Butch Patrick Homer rode around the stage on a tiny bike with Butch Patrick on his shoulders whilst cobras bit at them. Homer later got a mongoose in, who also attacked Homer. Octo Sapiens Closed down after Apu and Manjula got out of the contract. Octopia Stage show featuring the "Octo Sapiens". Closed down after Apu and Manjula got out of the contract. The Prairie Dog Experience Closed down for unknown reasons.
