- Eric Kaplan, regular writer of The Big Bang Theory, wrote the season 24 episode "The Saga of Carl".
- Brian Posehn, the actor who plays the role of Bert the geologist, a recurring character in The Big Bang Theory, will guest star in the upcoming season 28 episode "A Father's Watch". He has also written the script of the Simpsons Comics story Gnaws.
