Location Information

Mr. Burns' Casino was opened and operated by Mr. Burns, following Springfield's decision to legalize gambling to boost its economy.[1] It was located on the Waterfront. Marge developed her gambling addiction at this casino.[1] When it first opened, Homer took a job there as a blackjack dealer.[1]

Decline
Despite its decline after only a week of its opening (the whole town "just forgot about it", as Marge said), it was among the infrastructure the town transported when it moved five miles down the road.[2]
Demolition
The casino was later demolished by explosion. There was a mix–up among the demolition crew, however, as it was supposed to be set for implosion. This led to a massive cloud of dust that engulfed Downtown Springfield.[2]
