France is a country in western Europe with the capital and largest city is Paris. It is famous for French cuisine and the Eiffel Tower.

History
Bart visited France in a student exchange program with Adil Hoxha, who traveled to Springfield. Bart stayed at a vineyard, where his hosts, Ugolin and Cesar, treated him as a slave.[1] Also, the whole Simpson family escaped to France after Bart mistakenly mooned the American flag.[2]
Homer and Carl Carlson visited Paris on a business trip.[3]
Krusty went to France to find Princess Penelope after he left her. The nation also gave Krusty a marble bust for his comedy work.[4]
The Monroe family had a book from France.[5]
Grampa told a story to Bart ending with, "And that's why, if you go to that little town in France, there's a statue of me surrendering.." Then on a tablet Grampa showed Bart the statue as a little boy spat on it.[6]

The Simpsons Game
France was a place in the eating contest Around the World in 80 Bites.[7] In the level "Medal of Homer", Homer and Bart had to save France by removing all the surrender flags.[8]
Treehouse of Horror
Mayor Quimby insulted France while telling a "frog's leg joke." France demanded that Mayor Quimby apologize or suffer the consequences. Quimby unwisely refused to apologize and told them to "do their worst." In retaliation, the French launched a nuclear attack on Springfield, killing almost everyone except the Simpsons while mutating several other surviving citizens.[9]
When the Homer infection spread worldwide, the Homers changed Paris' name to "Margaritaville".[10]
