743 Evergreen Terrace is the house across from The Simpsons' house. Compared to all the other houses in Evergreen Terrace, it is larger and has a better looking garden. It was once occupied by former president George H. W. Bush and his wife Barbara who quickly moved out after George ended up in a feud with Homer. The house was later occupied by former president Gerald Ford who, unlike Bush, got along very well with Homer.
